INGREDIENTS
1-1/2 cups chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup butter at room temperature
1-1/2 cups crushed rice krispies
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2 bag Heath Bar Bits (Karen's "secret ingredient")
INSTRUCTIONS
* Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
* Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl (It's ok to use your hands).
* Form the mixture into 1" balls. If the dough is really sticky, sprinkle a small amount of powdered sugar on your hands.
* Refrigerate the pan of balls until they are firm.
Ingredients and Instructions for Glaze
* 1-1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
* 3 Tbs Crisco shortening
* 1 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
* Melt ingredients in a double broiler.
* Gently roll one ball at a time in the glaze.
* Return the balls to the lined pan to cool.
